The moment my first child was born I just *knew* I would be a perfect homeschool parent. A very humbling road lay ahead of me. By the time I had my 4th child, I thought I just might actually be the worst parent! I didn’t realize it at the time, but the thing that I desperately needed was COMMUNITY… more specifically, women who were in the trenches with me and also many years ahead of me and could encourage me in my homeschool journey. The Lord brought me just what I needed and I’m so very thankful! Now, a decade later, I have been privileged to be able to be that encouragement to others!
I would be honored to be part of your community.
Homeschooling doesn’t have to be hard. You don’t have to be overwhelmed. You don’t need to feel inadequate. The resources and ideas I share here are just sharing what has worked in our home over the years. My desire is not for you to exactly replicate what I do, I hope to encourage you to create a home where learning is enjoyed and your children’s unique qualities are supported.
I have two overarching goals when it comes to homeschooling: teach my kids how to learn and to love learning. Once they have that in place I can step back and watch them go!
