Nature Study (done naturally)

One of the great blessings of homeschooling is time. It takes time to be able to surround yourself with nature and observe it throughout the year. Since we’ve moved into the woods of Missouri my children’s natural curiosity has propelled them to learn so many things. I am continually amazed by their knowledge of our environment! In many ways it has exceeded mine. I haven’t done any formal training in this area of science with them. I simply ask questions to get them thinking and provide resources for them to find answers to their questions.
